FireGator does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (such as our SMS delivery provider and cloud hosting services), under strict contractual data protection obligations. SMS Alert Program

The FireGator NightWatch SMS alert program sends automated text messages to enrolled contacts when fire or heat anomalies are detected on monitored vehicles. Enrollment occurs through a written service agreement signed during system installation and onboarding.

  • Message frequency: Alerts are triggered by sensor events and vary based on vehicle activity. You may receive multiple messages during an active alarm event.
  • Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to any alert message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at the address below.

Phone numbers collected for SMS alerts are used solely for the delivery of safety notifications related to your enrolled fleet. They are not shared with third parties for marketing and are not used for any other purpose.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Vehicle telemetry and alert event logs are retained for a period of 12 months by default and may be retained longer for warranty, insurance, or regulatory purposes at the request of the fleet operator.

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
